Aaron joined GBX as a volunteer in 2023 and as a coach in 2024. He grew up in Maine and started racing East Coast mud and roots in the early 2000s. His work as a bike mechanic followed him from high school and college into Burkina Faso as a Peace Corps Volunteer where, in addition to teaching math to kids, he managed their bicycle maintenance program.

Beyond bikes, Aaron is a dad of two young boys and an engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

I am from Colorado and proudly call Golden home with my husband, Steve! I am a teacher at Manning Middle School and coach mountain biking in the fall for Golden High School. A great day is a day spent on the bike, and I can't wait to share my joy for the outdoors and biking with GBX!

My name is Adam Richardson, I am 19 years old and from Denver, CO. I have been mountain biking for as long as I can remember and love spending time in the great outdoors.

Hi! My name is Adia Annibella and I have been Mountain Biking since I could remember, I also did GBX as a kid so I know this program has the ability to progress your skills! I love the outdoors especially being in the mountains, and I love helping people, especially kids, find their passion, Mountain Biking or Not!

I am thrilled to be coaching my second year with GBX. I come from a road biking background but got hooked on mountain biking when I moved to Golden from Texas 15 years ago. I love helping kids discover the pure joy of being active outdoors, riding bikes with friends while also teaching them how to overcome some of the challenges. My goal for all of my riders is to gain the confidence, skills, and "mountain bike fever" to keep coming back for more and want to spend time on their bikes with friends. Biking has always been a large part of my life. Growing up my family competed in a variety of racing events and through my life bikes have always been a source of freedom and transportation! I now have two kids and along with my wife we are heavily into road / mountain and gravel riding.

I've lived in the Golden area since 2010 but have been exploring and playing around in the Rocky Mountains since I was a kid. My wife and I have 4 kids and a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love mountain biking and other outdoor activities with my family and friends, and really enjoy helping others discover the sport. I'm passionate about conservation and volunteer in the outdoors whenever I get the chance.

Hey everyone! I’m really excited to share my passion for the outdoors and riding! This will be my 3rd season coaching and I’m super stoked!

I have ridden with GBX since I was 12, coached the last three seasons. I work at C3 bike shop and rode the Enduro Circuit last year. Stoked to ride and get kids hyped about it.

Previous runner, cyclist and tri athlete turned mountain biker in 2000. Father of four and passionate about sharing mountain biking with others. Coached two years of high school MTB as a part of NICA. Been riding trails in Colorado since spring 2023. Moab, UT is my happy place.

I am an engineering student at Colorado School of Mines with a passion for the outdoors! I am from right here in the mountains of Colorado, and I love learning new things! As an avid lifelong cyclist, I wholeheartedly believe that outdoor activities can provide numerous persisting benefits, especially to the youth of the community.

I enjoy biking, skiing and high adrenaline outdoor sports! I started biking when I was 2 and joined GBX at age 6. GBX has greatly influenced my life and helped me to build my riding skills. I now race enduro for the Colorowdies Devo Team.

Kyle is a mountain sports enthusiast, a teacher and a proud parent of an 18 yo daughter and a 13 yo son. He has coached for the GHS Devo team and is a first-year coach with GBX.

Hi my name is Liam Fletcher. I attend college at Fort Lewis and am home for the summer. I enjoy everything outdoors. I love biking, skiing, climbing just anything that's outside. I'm excited for a fun summer!!!

I'm a teacher in Jeffco (Chatfield Senior High) and an assistant coach with Chatfield's Mountain Bike Team. I played lacrosse in college (Vassar College) and coached lacrosse for many years. I have a master's in Sport and Performance Psychology (University of Denver).

Lynn is a lover of bikes, art, and anything active in the outdoors. She is a Design Director in the outdoor industry innovating ski, cycling, and outdoor apparel & products. She has a Master's in Fine Art from the University of Colorado in Sculpture and holds 3 national championship titles as a retired bike racer. Her two boys Hudson and Finley ride for GBX as well!

My name is Maddie Blair, I am a student at CSU in Fort Collins. I grew up in Golden and I was a rider in GBX growing up. I also raced for the Golden High School team and now I race for the CSU Cycling team. After I aged out of the program I became a coach and have been coaching for 2 seasons. Looking forward to another fun summer!

Hello! My name is Madeline Harvey and I love being involved in the cycling community! I will be attending Colorado School of Mines in the fall and love to mountain bike whenever I can!

From riding building neighborhood jumps as a kid to traveling around racing gravel and enduro events, biking will always put a smile on your face.

I have been riding bikes for over 30 years. In the woods, mountains and on the trail is where I am most happy and I get great joy out of sharing my passion with others! Smiles not miles!

Hey I’m Nola! I’ve been riding with GBX since I was 10 years old and raced for Golden High School. I’m now a student at the University of Utah and am excited to be back in Golden to coach GBX this summer!

A lifelong runner and biker that was introduced to mountain biking 15 years ago and fell in love with the support. A coach for several years now both at GBX and GHS and occasional racer (Hundo and Growler are on the calendar this year). Husband and father with 6 MTBikers in the family. My name is Sage and this will be my 7th season coaching with GBX! I I have been mountain biking since I was a senior in high school - my mom and dad were my inspiration to get on the bike. I went to CU Boulder to study computer information systems (GIS), and also rode for CU’s mountain bike team, competing in cross country, dual slalom, and downhill - it was so fun! I was born and raised in Golden and live here still. Growing up in Colorado has instilled a deep appreciation for the outdoors, and for seeking new adventures with my husband, my 14yr old daughter, and my two dogs. 

Headed into my sophomore year at Golden High School and on the Mountain Bike Team. I've done GBX race and am currently riding with GBX Plus. I love long flow trails and can't wait to help younger riders fall in love with the sport

Zoe has been biking since she was 3, and has always loved it. She is currently on the Golden High School Mountain Bike Team. She loves working with kids, and has participated in GBX in the past and is looking forward to coaching GBX this summer.
