Laura Casey joined the organization in 2023 as a coach for the Summer and Fall programs. Looking for more GBX involvement, she transitioned to her role as Program Manager in 2024, and Team Director in 2025.

Laura grew up outside of Philadelphia as a competitive figure skater. She started running as cross-training for figure skating and ended up racing cross country and track at the University of Delaware. She found mountain biking when she moved to Golden with her (now) husband in 2017. Laura has been coaching various sports since 2013 including figure skating, running, and CrossFit. Laura also coaches for Golden HS MTB Team and you may spot her sweeping some of the league races! When she is not on her bike, you will find her trail running with her 2 pups, Mando and Grizzly, or at Alpine CrossFit!
